Job Summary

This 12-15 hours per week position involves serving as a study interventionist on two funded studies with youth: 1) a young adult suicide prevention project. The interventionist will deliver a brief, suicide prevention intervention via telehealth that uses motivational interviewing with participants ages 18-24; and 2) a strengths-based coaching intervention with participants ages 16-17 via telehealth. Both interventions require completing extensive training, completing all study documentation, attending team meetings as needed, and participating in supervision individually or with other team members.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

The ideal candidate will be a graduate student in social work, psychology, or counseling or have a masters degree in one of these fields. Other desired skills include attention to detail, excellent communication skills, the ability to follow a manualized intervention protocol, and strong interpersonal skills.
