Job Summary

The STEPS Technician provides audio/visual support for events across campus. As an entry level position, the technician is trained in:
  • Basic sound reinforcement
  • Video production
  • Lighting principles
  • Equipment

Dependability and a positive attitude are required.

Employee who work with University Events’ Production Services can expect an experience that allows them to work in a fast-paced environment while developing critical thinking and active problem solving skills, as well as gaining customer service and live event production knowledge.









Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Experience in sound reinforcement, video production, stage lighting, and computer use for presentations is preferred.
