Job Summary

This is a great opportunity to join the University of Kentucky Supply Center as a Storekeeper! We are seeking a detail oriented, customer service minded individual to work in a warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Issuing goods to customers, accurately picking orders and posting them in our materials management system (SAP).
• Receiving goods, shelving incoming stock, pulling overstock, checking shelves daily and confirming that shelved materials are in their correct location, clean and organized.
• You may also be asked to drive a UK vehicle and deliver goods to end users or pick up from local vendors.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Strong understanding of warehouse procedures and best practices, with extensive experience applying both.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with consistent follow-through.
• Comfortable using technology, including computers, scanners, and smartphones.
• Familiarity with Facilities personnel and how their needs change day to day.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Microsoft Office, SAP, analytical skills, experience driving a box truck, forklift, or reach truck.
