Shift
Variable depending on department needs and schedule. Office hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Hours may be available during the summer and other breaks. Working hours may range from 4 to 20 per week. There may be opportunities to work nights and weekends as needed.
Job Summary
The Stuckert Student Assistant will serve as a support for maintaining the daily operational functions for the career center space and services. Operational responsibilities include serving as the first point of contact for students, faculty, employers, and guests, at our front desk, checking students into Handshake, scheduling appointments, answering the phone, sorting mail, routing questions to the appropriate staff, and responding to e-mails on behalf of the center. This position will also provided additional opportunities to serve as a career ambassador for the Stuckert Career Center his position will assist with presentations, special events, peer drop in appointments, career fairs, tabling and outreach efforts as needed. Preference given to students eligible for Federal Work Study
