Job Summary
Candidate for this position will provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, and staff.
Job Duties:
• Promotes a professional image of the college by providing experienced, comprehensive, and quality counseling services to students and their families regarding financing options and financial policies
• Provides superior customer service to students while assisting and answering questions as it relates to student accounts and financial aid
• Oversees student accounts (billing/delinquent/past due notice/impact of financial aid)
• Serves as a cashier in the collection of student fees (i.e. tuition)
• Collects receipts funds from various inter-campus departments
• Posts Third party payments, scholarships, and non-student accounts receivables
• Reconciles and deposits daily cash receipts
• Review and process student refunds, stale checks, and credit balances.
• Audits College Faculty and Staff travel reimbursement vouchers
• Contributes to the overall success of the Business Office by performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate degree (related field) and two years of related work experience or equivalent. The ideal candidate must possess exceptional customer service, strong oral communication skills, a high level of professionalism, thrive in a team environment, strong work ethic, be experienced with handling confidential information, be oriented, adjust well to changing priorities, proficient in Microsoft Office, knowledge of financial aid process, and a self-starter.
