Job Summary

This position is responsible for the processing of external scholarships. The individual works closely with Student Account Services in the processing of the external scholarship checks received by the university. The individual is responsible for confirming student enrollment prior to the disbursement of external scholarship funds, resolving any issues that may arise and returning funds to scholarship donors when the student is no longer eligible due to the student not enrolling/withdrawing for the term or upon donor request. This position also works with external scholarship donors, students, and families in the completion of forms. This position handles the processing of the state-mandated tuition waivers ensuring the student is eligible for the funds prior to awarding. The person in this position should be able to work efficiently under pressure, prioritize tasks, be detail oriented and be able to solve problems. In addition, the successful candidate should be able to learn multiple information systems, and work proficiently in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
