Job Summary

Centenary is seeking a loving, dependable, and responsible Nursery Worker to provide a safe, nurturing, and welcoming environment for infants and toddlers during our worship services and events. The ideal candidate has a heart for children and a commitment to providing care.

Responsibilities:
• Provide attentive and loving care to infants and toddlers (typically ages 0-4)
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized nursery environment
• Follow all church safety and check-in/check-out procedures
• Engage children in age-appropriate play, stories, and activities
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians
• Work alongside volunteers or other staff as scheduled
• Report any incidents or concerns to appropriate staff

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

• Experience caring for young children (formal or informal)
• Warm, patient, and energetic personality
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Pass a background check and provide references
• Punctual and reliable
