Job Summary

This role will focus on employer and student engagement through targeted outreach, support services, and data management. Primary responsibilities include:



  • Employer Outreach: Contacting employers to encourage job postings on our platform and promote partnership opportunities.
  • Student Engagement: Providing employment consultations via phone, in person, or virtually to support students in their job search and career development.
  • Marketing & Promotion: Representing the department through tabling events and other outreach efforts to raise awareness of available services.
  • Social Media Maintenance: Assisting with the upkeep of social media channels to share job opportunities, events, and career resources.
  • Job Posting Management: Posting job requisitions and ensuring accurate and timely listings on the department’s job board.
  • Data Tracking & Reporting: Recording and tracking data related to federal grants and program outcomes to support compliance and reporting requirements.
  • Customer Service: Delivering excellent service to students, employers, and campus departments through timely, professional, and helpful interactions.


Additional work includes tracking and reporting data and managing office email inbox. Must provide excellent customer service to students, employers and campus departments. Will be using MS Office and the UK Integrated Employment System.



Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Strong time management and interpersonal skills. Must be comfortable with MS Office suite, especially Excel and Outlook. Ability to use Canva or photoshop and social media.
