Help most needed on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Can also use additional help M,W,F mornings for a couple of hours.



Job Summary

You must be a current UK student to apply to this position. This position is located off-campus with a local Lexington employer and is not affiliated with UK.

Provide in home personal care to 23 y/o male with severe Cerebral Palsy, who is non-verbal, and non ambulatory and total care. Prepare meals and provide feeding assistance, maintain safety and engage in activities. Mother will train all necessary tasks.






Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

REQUIRED Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
Most importantly not to be uncomfortable around disabled. Familiar with seizure disorders, personal care needs.

PREFERRED Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
Studying Nursing, Education, physical therapy or other health care related program. Experience with disabled preferred. A heart for being with disabled and seeing their abilities.
