Job Summary
This position will provide college-wide coordination of student activities, student organizations and events.
Job Duties:
• Plans and organizes student activities (including intramurals) for the entire student body at multiple campus sites including securing event facilities, publicizing events, organizing food, contracting entertainment, and recruiting volunteers for setup and tear down.
• Serves as liaison between student groups at multiple campus sites and administration by providing assistance and guidance in planning and organizing group activities.
• Oversees student organizations and provides student organization executive officer training, faculty advisor training, event planning workshops, and fundraising strategy workshops each semester as needed.
• Serves as SGA Advisor and supervises student government association's operations including officer training, meeting agenda preparation, membership, recruitment, marketing, event planning, and record maintenance.
• Assists with the Student Ambassador program including, but not limited to, uniform coordination and daily operations such as event coordination and tracking.
• Manages the Student Activities/Student Life and SGA webpage and other communications.
• Manages use of the Student Union Building.
• Oversees and supports college-wide events.
• Manages Student Activities and SGA budgets.
• Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (related field), and two years related work experience or equivalent.
