Job Summary

You must be a current UK student to apply for this position. This position is located off-campus with a local Lexington employer and is not affiliated with UK.

Now accepting applications for experienced youth care workers/caregivers.
Training begins October 13th, 2025, from 2 PM – 7 PM Training is mandatory, and you must attend all trainings for approximately 2 1/2 weeks. Training is paid.

QUALIFICATIONS
-High school Diploma or GED
-21 years of age or older
-Valid Driver’s License, proof of auto insurance and vehicle on site
-Must be able to pass background check.

Shifts available Sunday through Saturday 3 PM-12 AM. Must be able to work 1 shift EVERY weekend, mainly Sunday. Weekend shift might include 8 am – 4 pm shift.

Youth Care Worker
Staffing safe, stable residential homes for youth and young adults who are in the custody of the Cabinet for Health and Family Services is paramount to the purpose of our organization. This allows youth to live more independently, and we need YOUR help!
Key Assets Kentucky is looking for caring, dependable individuals to join our team as Youth Care Workers. This role provides direct supervision and support to youth in our therapeutic group homes, helping them build life skills, achieve goals, and feel safe and valued.

What You’ll Do
Provide daily care, supervision, and structure for youth in a group home setting
Build positive, therapeutic relationships with youth and model appropriate behavior
Support youth in areas like hygiene, chores, emotional regulation, and social interaction
Participate in team meetings and trainings to ensure consistent, trauma-informed care
Accurately document daily activities and progress

Must be at least 21 years old
High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant experience preferred
