Qualifications:
NJ standard certificate Principal/ Supervisor or Supervisor certificate and a NJ certificate in one of the following areas: Teacher, School Counselor, School Psychologist, Social Worker, or Student Assistance Coordinator
3 years experience in education as a teacher, school counselor, student assistance coordinator, or administrator
Experience as a school counselor, Anti Bullying Specialist, or specialist knowledge
Knowledge and understanding of a comprehensive school counseling program and school health services program
Knowledge and understanding of the student registration process and Education for Homeless Children and Youth - McKinney Vento
Solid knowledge of state and federal laws, including NJ Anti-Bullying Rights Law
Highly organized with excellent verbal and written communication
Excellent presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a highly transactional, fast paced environment
Salary: Following the established CHASA salary guidelines ranging from $115,000 minimum to $185,000 maximum per year. Final compensation offer will be based on experience and qualifications.
Full-time staff are eligible for Medical, Prescription, and Dental Benefits. Sick, Personal and Bereavement Days are included

It explicitly prohibits such employers from hiring a person serving in a position which involves regular contact with students unless the employer conducts a review of the employment history of the applicant by contacting former and current employers and requesting information regarding child abuse and sexual misconduct allegations.
