Description:
We are seeking a Systems Engineer to support a wide range of design projects and technical activities related to production operations. This role is responsible for the installation, integration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of systems, software, hardware, and electro-mechanical equipment. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical foundation, exercises independent judgment, and collaborates effectively across teams to ensure system performance, reliability, and continuous improvement.
Essential Job Functions- Support the design, development, and implementation of system solutions for production.
- Install, configure, integrate, and maintain hardware, software, and electro-mechanical systems.
- Support and execute system integration efforts across multiple platforms and components.
- Develop and execute system testing, validation, and verification activities.
- Collaborate with engineers, production, and QA to resolve technical challenges and improve performance.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system architectures, configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members as needed.
- BS in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in systems engineering, integration, or a related technical role.
- Strong understanding of hardware, software, and electro-mechanical systems and their interactions.
- Experience with system integration, testing, and troubleshooting in complex environments.
- Proven ability to analyze problems, develop solutions, and execute with minimal oversight.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain any required security clearances.
- Experience supporting production, manufacturing, or defense-related programs.
- Familiarity with systems engineering lifecycle processes.
- Experience with technical documentation and configuration management practices.
- Exposure to scripting, automation, or engineering tools relevant to system support and integration.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to learn and apply new information and/or skills. Must be able to interpret data, information, and documents.
- Occasional Travel may be required 10%
- Occasionally will need to lift/and or move up to 45lbs.
- Must be able to wear personal protective gear most of the day.
- Moderate environment temperature and noise level.
- Regularly works around moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity. Noise level may be loud at times.
