The Role
As the Alternative Investments Team Lead, you will support management and a team of 17+ associates in an end-to-end operations business that supports over $70B in customer assets. In addition, you will mentor and build, the team to work collectively as a team and achieve shared goals. The role will include 50% oversight of an operational team and 50% focused on process a variety of data entry transactions and maintenance requests.
- Track and supervise monitor outstanding issues and provide timely updates.
- Analyze, research, and resolve discrepancies in accordance with departmental SLAs to minimize risk to the company.
- Partner with stakeholders to collect reporting information.
- Interact with a variety of customers, client, and agents relative to your role.
- Ensure policy and procedures are followed and paperwork requirements are met to minimize risk
- Develop internal and external relationships, significantly enhancing the customer experience.
- Identifying process improvement opportunities to advance the business towards a premier digital experience.
- Providing daily support and mentor to associates on their interactions.
- Cultivating an environment that promotes passion, growth, and development.
- Guiding others through periods of change.
- Establishing standards for optimal performance delivery, in line with industry best practices.
The Expertise and Expertise You Bring
- College degree preferred.
- Series 99 license (or within 90 days of hire)
- Proven experience in team leadership and coaching.
- Strong ability to drive business results through effective team management.
- Prior experience with alternative investments process experience is preferred.
- Team player with capability to help maintain a positive work environment.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Ability to prioritize and work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and processes.
- The ability to explain and resolve complex processes.
- Strong PC skills - Word, Excel, and Access.
- Process a variety of data entry transactions and maintenance requests.

The Team
Within the Operations & Services Group (OSG) business unit, Alternative Investment (AI) is a highly niche investment vehicle that is tailored to sophisticated, high net-worth investors and are not traded on any public market. Our Alternative Investments group services all Fidelity lines of business and handles end-to-end operations from onboarding of assets, all transactions, reconciliation, and servicing requests. Alternative Investments is a nuanced product space with manual, industry wide processes in place to support transactional activity. The Alternative Investments Team Lead navigates these processes and ensure the ultimate client experience for our clients
The base salary range for this position is $52,000-$83,000 per year.Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
