Job Summary

We are seeking two intellectually curious and driven Technology & Innovation Interns to join our team for Summer 2026. While the primary focus of this role is advancing AI adoption across the organization, these interns will also contribute to broader technology and project initiatives by providing flexibility to support where the business needs them most.

Interns will work with stakeholders to identify, explore, and develop AI use cases from initial concept through proof of concept. This includes leading discovery conversations, producing thorough documentation, and building lightweight solutions that demonstrate the value of AI for the business. Beyond AI, interns may also support technology improvement efforts, process analysis, and project coordination across IT and business teams.

The ideal candidate brings an eagerness to learn, are comfortable navigating ambiguity, and can translate complex ideas into practical solutions. They will be encouraged to bring innovative thinking and contribute meaningfully to a team committed to building a more data-driven, technology-enabled organization.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to surface, evaluate, and prioritize AI use cases and broader technology improvement opportunities.
  • Lead and support discovery sessions to understand stakeholder needs, current workflows, and pain points.
  • Produce clear, thorough documentation throughout discovery and ideation phases, including use case briefs, requirements summaries, process flows, and feasibility assessments.
  • Design proof-of-concept solutions that demonstrate the potential value of prioritized AI and technology initiatives.
  • Support project milestone tracking, status reporting, and stakeholder communications across active initiatives.
  • Stay current on emerging AI tools, technology trends, and industry best practices, and share relevant insights with the team.
  • Help prepare presentations and demonstrations of AI concepts, prototypes, and recommendations for leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Participate in team stand-ups, status meetings, and project reviews as required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Genuine interest in technology and innovation, with a particular enthusiasm for AI and its practical business applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce clear documentation and present findings confidently.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to break down complex, open-ended problems into structured solutions.
  • Basic project management skills — ability to track tasks, meet deadlines, and communicate progress proactively.
  • Preferred Skills & Experience:
    • Exposure to AI/ML tools, large language models, or prompt engineering.
    • Familiarity with project management concepts, tools, or methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, or similar frameworks).
    • Proficiency with tools such as Python, APIs, low-code/no-code platforms, or data visualization tools.
    • Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams and build strong relationships across the organization.
    • Highly self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under deadlines.

Education and Experience Required

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program; rising junior, senior, or graduate student preferred.
  • Relevant coursework in AI, machine learning, data science, information systems, business analysis, or project management is a plus.
