Temporary Warehouse Associate
The Office of Business, Hospitality and Auxiliary Services (BHAS) leads the University's foundational business services and is one of the many units under Finance and Operations. The Temporary Warehouse Associate will work in assigned department, providing exceptional internal & external customer service in person, online & over the telephone. Familiarity with University Store merchandise in all departments. Receive product, assist with special orders, regalia orders, University Requisition, or eCommerce order fulfillment as necessary. Utilize computer database to retrieve & research information for customers & department. Assist with eCommerce, order fulfillment and text rental process.

Facilitate merchandise flow by receiving merchandise, assisting with order fulfillment, moving product on & off sales floor in a timely manner. Stock shelves & merchandise incoming product, verify stock numbers. Conduct physical inventory in select subject areas. Locate & process stock targeted by buyer for return. Verify & supply information to facilitate accurate returns in compliance with vendor return policy.

Ability to lift cartons up to 50 lbs.
Extensive data entry. Assisting with requisitions & other stock orders, including pending orders, sales catalogs, best sellers, general merchandise orders. Verify organizational & institutional qualifications. Correct, edit, verify or delete data for accurate data base maintenance.

Other tasks as necessary to support Book Center operations, including, but not limited to, assistance with: store and stock inventory management, yearly physical inventory, textbook reservation process, graduation and “grad central”, and a variety of in-store and out of store events. Additional duties and hours will be required as needed to support a variety of Book Center initiatives.

A High School Diploma or GED is required for this position and a Bachelor's degree is Preferred.
