Overview

The Training Coordinator supports the planning, coordination, and administration of plant-wide training programs to ensure effective onboarding, regulatory compliance, and continuous employee development. Working closely with the E&T Manager, this role assists in developing and maintaining training materials and Standard Operating Procedures, managing training documentation systems, engaging with employees across departments, and ensuring required training programs are executed effectively and consistently across all lines and shifts.



Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify training needs and objectives.
  • Attend daily DMS (SDS) meetings to connect with teams across the facility, stay informed of operational issues, and escalate identified training needs to the E&T Manager.
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training programs through working with Natural Work Teams, conducting evaluations, collecting feedback, and tracking performance metrics.
  • Work with the E&T Manager to support the design, development, and update of training programs tailored to the manufacturing plant's requirements.
  • Develop and maintain clear and concise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for various manufacturing processes, ensuring adherence to industry regulations, safety guidelines, and best practices.
  • Prepare and deliver training packets & training rosters for onboarding and ongoing development programs.
  • Organize, scan, file, and maintain both physical and digital training documentation, ensuring accessibility, accuracy, and version control.
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, completion status, and performance evaluations; generate reports to track progress and identify gaps.
  • Create and update training materials, manuals, OPLs, charts, graphs, and other visual instructional aids, including laminated materials and digital learning content developed within eLearning authoring platforms (e.g., iSpring) to support effective training delivery.
  • Maintain the training announcement board with current and relevant information.
  • Conduct daily training GEMBAs to check in with active trainees, monitor progress, and reinforce learning and safety expectations.
  • Assist in facilitating training courses and conduct train-the-trainer sessions to equip trainers across departments with the skills and knowledge to effectively onboard and develop new employees.
  • Coordinate required training programs across all lines and shifts to ensure timely completion and full compliance.
  • Implement improvements based on feedback, performance data, and evolving operational needs.
  • Promote a culture of safety and adherence to protocols among trainers and trainees.
  • Ensure all training programs and SOPs comply with safety regulations and industry standards.

· Experience in training analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation.

· Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple training initiatives, administrative processes, and documentation systems with accuracy and attention to detail.

· Experience developing instructional materials, including digital learning content using eLearning authoring tools; proficiency with iSpring preferred.

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including presenting effectively, facilitating small-group and one-on-one training, providing constructive feedback, and developing clear written training materials and SOPs.

· Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate training effectiveness, interpret performance data, and identify improvement opportunities.

· Familiarity with learning management systems; experience with Alchemy is a plus.

· E&T Pillar knowledge is a plus.

This job operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to move about the plants. The employee is required to sit; use hands to finger; handle; or feel/hold objects; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; speak, hear, taste, and smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Individual must be able to effectively work in a normal production environment where temperatures and noise levels may vary. Generally the incumbent must be able to sit/stand and use a computer for extended periods of time.
