Position Summary The Training Coordinator provides operational and administrative support to the Training department, serving as the central point of contact for logistics, scheduling, learner support, vendor coordination, and program administration across AmeriGas. This role oversees multiple training sites, ensuring efficient use of trainers, materials, and resources while maintaining regulatory and safety compliance. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Functions
- Training Logistics & Scheduling — Coordinate scheduling across multiple locations, manage facilities, equipment, materials, travel, and virtual platforms (Zoom, Teams). Maintain training calendar, manage LMS rosters/enrollments, and send pre-training communications.
- Learner Support & Communication — Serve as first point of contact for training inquiries via phone, email, and IM. Provide LMS support, process and route training requests, and send follow-up communications including surveys and certificates.
- Training Administration & Recordkeeping — Maintain records, attendance, and certifications for compliance (DOT, OSHA). Process completion documentation, update transcripts, escalate non-compliance, generate reports, and manage filing systems.
- Vendor & Partner Coordination — Coordinate with vendors, facilitators, and industry partners (NPGA, PERC) on scheduling, contracts, and logistics. Process invoices, track deliverables, and arrange travel per company policy.
- Program Support — Assist instructional designers and trainers with content updates, project coordination, and onboarding. Maintain the content library with version control and LMS publishing, and compile feedback for program improvement.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Experience with LMS administration and virtual platforms (Zoom, Teams)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and escalate issues when needed
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in Training & Development, HR, Education, or related field preferred
- 4+ years of experience in training coordination or administrative support
- Background in training, HR, or education administration a plus
