AutoNation Finance (“ANF”), AutoNation’s fast-growing financing company, is looking for an established finance professional to support its Capital Markets & Treasury department. This role offers great learning opportunities across all aspects of auto-finance, the auto industry, and data analytics, prior analyst experience is required.
Organizational Relationships
The Treasury Analyst will report to the Manager, Capital Markets & Treasury and work in close collaboration with a peer analyst. The analyst will have exposure to the Director - Capital Markets & Treasury, the CFO of AutoNation Finance, and will interact with various departments and management, external partners, and AutoNation Inc.’s Treasury department.
Experience in the following areas can distinguish successful candidates: capital markets for loan portfolios (securitizations and warehouses, servicer reporting, audit support), portfolio / data and trend analyses and financial modeling, FP&A reporting, audit / AUP / legal agreement support, reconciliations and variance reporting, SQL or DAX coding
Key Job Responsibilities
- Support the department’s management with daily / weekly / monthly / quarterly reports that are focused on the company’s loan portfolio, debt facilities, or the auto ABS peer market
- Assist in the treasury and capital markets process, including running and peer-reviewing monthly compliance reports (servicer reports) sent to investors and lenders, creating reporting for borrowing or debt paydowns, reconciling invoices, or working on ad-hoc projects and strategic initiatives
- Assist in financial modeling, forecasting, and developing presentations for investor or rating agency meetings
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, accounting, or similar
- 2+ years of treasury / capital markets / loan portfolio, or similar finance experience
- Prior capital markets experience (issuing / advising / asset valuations)
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, with adept problem-solving abilities and concise communication
- High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint to provide concise analyses to senior management
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in business, finance, economics, accounting, or data analytics
- Prior capital markets or auto industry experience, i.e. ABS / Warehouse / rating agencies / investor management
- Strong financial modeling and data analysis skills, i.e. static pools, corporate models, rollforwards, amortizations
- Knowledge of database management tools, Power BI, and basic coding knowledge (i.e. VBA / SQL / DAX)
