Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Technologist to join our OB/GYN team. In this role, you will perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations, support patients throughout their care experience, and provide accurate imaging data to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment planning. The ideal candidate is clinically competent, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered care in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with provider orders, clinical protocols, and industry standards
- Produce and document high-quality sonographic images for physician interpretation
- Prepare and position patients, clearly explaining procedures to ensure comfort and understanding
- Monitor patient condition during exams and respond appropriately to any concerns
- Communicate technical findings to physicians through oral and/or written summaries
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records, including imaging and documentation
- Ensure proper operation, cleanliness, and maintenance of ultrasound equipment
- Adhere to all clinic policies, HIPAA regulations, and patient safety standards
- Collaborate with providers and staff to support efficient patient flow and high-quality care
- Participate in team meetings, training, and quality improvement initiatives
- Support value-based care efforts to enhance patient outcomes
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Current ultrasound technologist certification required
- RDMS registered or registry-eligible (as applicable)
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited ultrasound program preferred
- Minimum of one year of ultrasound experience or relevant clinical training preferred
- OB/GYN ultrasound experience preferred
- Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain within required timeframe)

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and sit for extended periods
- Frequent use of hands and arms for equipment operation and patient positioning
- Ability to assist with patient transfers (lifting, pushing, pulling within safety guidelines)
- Visual acuity to review images and documentation accurately
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff
