Description

The intern will assist the Office of Nursing at Georgia Department of Public Health with analysis of a survey related to congenital syphilis and perinatal HIV in Georgia. The student will use data analysis skills to support this project.

The intern will primarily conduct data analysis of the survey and provide a summary highlighting pertinent results and trends. During their time with the Office of Nursing, the intern will gain knowledge of how the Office of Nursing functions within the overall Department of Public Health, the relationship of state-, district- and county-level public health services, and make lifelong career contacts.

Job Responsibilities

Analyze qualitative results of perinatal infectious diseases survey.
Participate in meetings to discuss findings.
Draft summary of analysis results, highlighting important trends.
Assist with presentation of results to state and district stakeholders.
Develop positive working relationships with internal and external partners,
