Essential Job Functions: - Provide high-quality medical care and treatment in accordance with established clinical guidelines and under physician supervision. - Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals across all age groups, ensuring a positive and supportive experience. - Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad range of acute illnesses and injuries, including prescribing medications as appropriate. - Accurately document patient encounters in the electronic medical record (EMR), ensuring compliance with coding, billing, and regulatory standards. - Perform approved diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within scope of practice. - Order, interpret, and assess diagnostic tests and laboratory results to support clinical decision-making. - Develop and implement effective, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. - Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to provide coordinated, comprehensive care. -Prescribe appropriate treatments, interventions, and medications in alignment with clinical protocols and best practices. - Contribute to a culture of clinical excellence, teamwork, and an outstanding patient experience. - Support clinic operations by performing additional duties as needed.
Qualifications: - Current licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the State of Utah. - Active DEA registration and Utah Controlled Substance License. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS or other relevant certifications preferred, depending on departmental needs. - Demonstrated strong work ethic, professionalism, and commitment to high-quality patient care. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively engage with patients and team members. - Proven ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced clinical environment. - Strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build trust and rapport with patients, colleagues, and leadership. - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented setting. - Sound clinical judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills, with a high level of initiative. - Professional presence and advanced communication skills to navigate complex situations and represent the clinic with integrity and confidence.
Hours: This PRN (as-needed) role offers flexible scheduling to support both clinic needs and work-life balance. Shifts are available Monday through Sunday, typically ranging from 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM.
