ARC is looking for a User Experience (UX) Designer II to join our team! In this role, you will contribute to the design process from concept to execution. This role will support the design of intuitive, engaging, and user-centered digital experiences. You will collaborate with senior designers and product teams to understand user needs and translate them into wireframes, mockups, and prototypes. Additionall, you will support UX design activities including assisting in creating user personas, journey maps, and wireframes. This role will collaborate and communicate stakeholder and user needs on a cross functional team within an agile environment.



Responsibilities

  1. Assist in conducting user research, usability testing, and analysis of user behavior and feedback.
  2. Assist in translating research insights into wireframes, user flows, and low-fidelity prototypes
  3. Work closely with developers, product managers, and senior designers to ensure design feasibility and consistency.
  4. Participate in the design iteration process, incorporating feedback from usability tests and stakeholders.
  5. Stay current with UI/UX trends, best practices, and tools. Continue developing skills in design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch).


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred; equivalent work experience considered
  • 1+ years’ experience in UI/UX design, mockup and wireframes and design layouts required
  • Understanding of UX principles, responsive design, and accessibility standards.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and willingness to learn from feedback.
  • Some exposure to front-end technologies (HTML/CSS) is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to generate innovative design solutions that align with user and business needs.
  • Ability to participate in research and testing to uncover user needs and translate them into design requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a team environment, especially with product, engineering, and other designers.
  • Capable of managing multiple design tasks, meeting deadlines, and balancing short-term fixes with long-term solutions.
