Together, we will become the world's leading cancer reference laboratory.Position Summary:The Vice President, Global Marketing will report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer. This position will lead and manage a dynamic global marketing team. The role will be to develop a clear and differentiated brand position within our target market. Develop and execute effective marketing and promotional strategies, campaigns, and tactics for the company’s products and services across all channels to optimally position the company to achieve long-term growth while meeting annual revenue and profitability goals.Core Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a key and active member of the Executive Leadership Team of NeoGenomics and the CLT.
  • Provide leadership for the development of Global marketing strategies, including objectives and strategies for targeted markets, branding, product launches, awareness campaigns, and digital/social media strategy for both the Clinical and Advanced Diagnostic divisions.
  • Develop and implement a new brand positioning for NeoGenomics which is clear and differentiated in the markets in which we operate.
  • Ensure that all marketing channels, campaigns, and tactics, (Web, Digital, Print, Tradeshow, Sales, etc.) are aligned under this revised positioning.
  • Develop and execute a marketing plan which includes branding, content creation, events, digital marketing, lead generation partner marketing, and sponsorships.
  • Maximize the ROI and impact of the marketing promotional budget.
  • Lead the process for the continuous evaluation and identification of trends and adjust strategies to capitalize on shifts in the marketplace, including the process of obtaining and disseminating competitive intelligence across all markets and product lines.
  • Analyze the existing market size and competitive landscape in order to deliver market intel and analytics.
  • Collaborate with Market, Sales, Finance, Medical, and R&D to define appropriate and effective sales channels for all products.
  • Determine the optimum balance between in-house vs agency support to realize marketing objectives.
  • Establish metrics for the measurement of marketing program effectiveness and ROI
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget.
  • Responsible for the overall management of the global marketing team, providing coaching and leadership, and fostering a culture of inclusiveness, creativity, and accountability.
  • Effective leadership of the Digital, Tradeshow and Creative teams to ensure optimal use of resources.
Experience, Education and Qualifications:
  • BA/BS Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business, or related scientific field; Master’s degree strongly preferred
  • 15+ years of progressive global marketing experience in laboratory, pharma, or life science fields; deep understanding of marketing and Marcom principles, sales and business development, and product and service management.
  • 5+ years in marketing leadership positions with a proven record of leading and managing a Marketing organization with overall responsibility for establishing long-term strategic growth initiatives.
  • 5+ years of experience in Pharma, Diagnostics, or Medical device. Experience in oncology is greatly preferred.
  • Experience in strategic planning and collaboration with Executives, Sales, Medical and R&D, and key operational groups.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with proven success and track record in delivering top-line results.
  • Experience translating market dynamics into actionable strategies and marketing programs that aid in the achievement of the business’s overall objectives.
  • Experience working with a multi-location company and international background a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify potential risks and/or obstacles, and opportunities and then to develop and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven oral, written, telephone, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure and extra hours if needed on assignments.
  • Proficient with MS Office programs.
  • Keen ability, to and desire to anticipate, recognize and meet others’ needs to achieve common goals.
  • Must be able to work in a biohazard environment and comply with safety policies and standards outlined in the Safety Manual.
