
Vice President, Product Strategy (Utility experience required)
Job Summary:
The Vice President, Product Strategy will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the company’s product strategy for our VXConnect, digital customer engagement product.
This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of market trends, product management, and strategic planning.
The VP will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of product initiatives that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
Essential Job Requirements:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the product strategy in alignment with the company’s overall business objectives.
Product Development: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of product initiatives, ensuring they meet market needs and are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of product managers and strategists, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities and threats, and inform product strategy.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for product initiatives.
Performance Monitoring: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of product strategies.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with product development and strategy, ensuring the stability and success of product initiatives.
Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of product strategy processes.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in product strategy, product management, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of market trends and product management principles.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and executing product strategies.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Product Management, or a related field preferred.
- A Master’s degree is preferred.
