THE ROLE
The Video Specialist edits external and internal videos for the company’s website, social media and intranet. Assists and works closely with the Head of Post Production (Video Lead Specialist) and Video Producers to help finalize an assortment of video projects. Works within several video production software programs in the Adobe Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition).
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Support video team in establishing the desired look and feel for the video to be created
- Operate computer editing systems and equipment used for video/audio media and motion graphics, emphasis on Premiere Pro and After-Effects
- Ingest, organize and backup all forms of media onto storage drives
- Improve video (color correction, Lumetri, Red Giant) and sound quality (Adobe Audition) • Ensure the correct formatting (aspect ratio, file size, etc.) and presentation for finalized videos according to client's specifications
- Experience in videography/grip work so as to contribute to the on-set video productions, aiding in the lighting, running of cables and recording our on-camera talent.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor's degree in media production, film production or related degree is required
- 0-2+ video editing experience required (2 years preferred)
- Access to the Boston office location (111 Huntington Ave) for on-site video editing and grip work
- Hybrid Work environment with 2-3 days on-site required
- Experience in videography/grip work for on-set productions
- Communication and organization skills
- Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment, handling multiple projects at various stages simultaneously, and to readily adapt
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
