Position can be remote, with ability to travel within the regions and to Caron Campuses.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create an organizational wide targeted sales strategy to support sales philosophy of relationship management, new business prospecting and payer mix to meet financial benchmarks.
- Oversee and support Business Development leaders in implementing the overall targeted regional sales strategy to support sales philosophy of relationships management and new business prospecting.
- Provide strategic direction in sales tracking & data intelligence to provide key tracking and trends for sales planning.
- Collaborate with Business Development team to develop strategies to increase revenue from referral sources, with a heavy emphasis on signature revenue.
- Conduct performance evaluations of all direct reports as well as coaching, training and supervision of employees.
- Develop and monitor individual and departmental goals and coach to achieve success.
- Establish, maintain and monitor Business Development-related budgets. Including preparation and submissions of all reports, expense accounts and management requested information
- Be an ambassador of Caron to potential and current referrals to all programs across our continuum; as well as to referrals across the country.
- Assist the RRD’s and Admissions with complicated cases as requested.
- Work with the RRDs and aftercare staff in assisting the treatment teams in locating and evaluating aftercare facilities and continuing care programs.
- Alert Executive Leadership when there’s a case with high donor potential to ensure appropriate staff can meet the patient/family during their stay.
- Represent the organization in a professional manner at civic and professional functions when requested. Including attending national conferences as needed
- Support Business Development team in coordinating and hosting referral-related events and visits to Caron facilities.

Education / Experience Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Administration or related field required; masters preferred
- 7+ years of business development and sales experience
- 5+ years supervisory experience or leading a sales team preferred
- Clinical knowledge and understanding of 12-Step program required
- If in recovery, 2 years of continuous sobriety preferred

- Proven success in direct personal selling, relationship management and new business prospecting
