Role Summary:This position is responsible for leading go-to-market functions, owning all sales data (financial and operational), equipping the sales teams with tools and resources to effectively engage buyers and close deals, and optimizing sales systems and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. The role requires close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Post-Sales Commercial teams (including CRMs, Product Specialists, and Onboarding), Finance, Product, and Payroll Operations to improve forecasting pipeline visibility, execution, and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Revenue Operations & Sales Enablement team, including GTM strategy, recruitment, and people management (on-boarding / development / performance)
- Align sales goals with company objectives through market planning and accurate sales forecasting
- Design and manage sales compensation plans and incentive programs
- Partner with the Commercial Operations leader to develop and implement optimized sales operations strategies and other key initiatives, including account planning and other programs designed to optimize sales performance
- Owns all sales data and reporting, including pipeline management and tracking key KPIs and performance metrics, including ROI on sales initiatives (conferences, sponsorships, sales plays, etc)
- Serve as the subject matter expert across the GTM organization by performing in-depth data analysis to inform critical business decisions
- Oversee sales territories, account assignments, and commercial rules of engagement
- Build, coach, and mentor a high-performing global Revenue Operations team
- Drives the QBR process for major accounts across the markets
- Manage CRM systems and sales tech stack, including CRM training programs for the commercial team
- Create and implement pricing and discounting strategies, including a deal review process
- Manage the creation and organization of sales enablement materials, which includes rep collateral used in selling situations, training and coaching materials (including commercial onboarding), and sales process and playbook
Required Skills / Experience
- 8+ years in a corporate leadership role or at a top management consulting company with strong exposure to GTM strategy and operations
- Proven experience managing direct reports and leading cross-functional teams
- Strong leadership skills capabilities with a track record of building and scaling high-performing teams
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Executive presence with a proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders; strong influencing and collaboration skills in cross-functional environments
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a sense of urgency and adaptability to unplanned changes
- Strong communication stills, including experience presenting to large, diverse audiences and crafting executive-level messaging
- Ability to solve problems creatively and work independently with limited resources; hands-on and willing to “roll up sleeves” when needed
- Subject matter expertise leading strategic initiatives, forecasting, and pipeline management
- Deep GTM business acumen with a strong understanding of the customer journey and internal operational interdependencies that drive execution
