X-Ray Limited Radiologic Practical Technician-PRN-Orthopedics-St. George

Position Summary: This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced, respected practice as an orthopedic Radiologic Technologist. A successful candidate must maintain a professional image in the office and in all communications. They also must be able to multi-task while maintaining good patient and staff relations.

Essential Job Functions: •Orders x-ray exams in EMR system •Prepares x-ray equipment •Positions patient appropriately to obtain x-ray as ordered by physician •Transfers patients efficiently and appropriately using proper body mechanics •Keeps exam room and equipment clean, organized, and stocked •Sterilizes procedure instruments •Provides courteous and friendly service to all patients, physicians, and co-workers •Contributes to a positive work environment and any other tasks needed to help clinic run smoothly •Assists in covering Mesquite clinic days when necessary •Attends all required meetings •Any other duties that may fall within scope of practice

Qualifications: •Will obtain or holds an active UT Limited Practical Technologist License (REQUIRED) •Graduate or student of an accredited program (REQUIRED) •Medical terminology (PREFERRED) •6 Months+ of clinical experience (PREFERRED) •Good customer service and communication skills.

Hours: •St. George, UT Ortho Hours of Operation: Monday - Thursday 8:00AM - 5:00 PM and Friday 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM •Mesquite, NV Ortho Hours of Operation: M/T/TH 8:00AM - 5:00 PM •LPT will work as needed
