X-Ray Technologist or Limited Radiologic Practical Technician - PRN - Mesquite

Position Summary: This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced, respected practice as an orthopedic Radiologic Technologist. A successful candidate must maintain a professional image in the office and in all communications. The ideal candidate must also be able to multi-task while maintaining good patient and staff relations.

Essential Job Functions:

• Order x-ray exams in EMR system
• Prepare x-ray equipment •Verify patient information before performing exams
• Position patient appropriately to obtain x-ray as ordered by physician
• Use appropriate technical factors to limit patient radiation exposure
• Keeps the x-ray exam room and equipment clean, organized and stocked
• Sterilizes procedure tools when necessary
• Provide courteous and friendly service to all patients, physicians, and co-workers
• Contribute to a positive work environment by helping with any other tasks to help the clinic run smoothly
• Attends all required meetings
• Travel to the main clinic in St. George when extra coverage is needed
  

Qualifications:

• Active UT or NV Radiologic Technologist License/ UT or NV Limited Practical Technologist License (REQUIRED)
• Graduate of an accredited program (REQUIRED)
• Medical terminology (PREFERRED)
• 6 Months+ of clinical experience (PREFERRED)
• Good customer service and communication skills.
  

Hours: Clinic Hours of Operation: Monday - Thursday 8:00AM - 5:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM Days/hours may vary on a weekly basis!
