This role is responsible for reviewing and analyzing maintenance work performed by site technicians, ensuring adherence to best practices, operational policies, inventory controls, and time management standards.What you’ll do<ul><li>Monitor the quality of maintenance workmanship across multiple projects.</li></ul><ul><li>Report nonconformities and assess if they stem from workmanship, process/tooling gaps, manufacturing issues, or nonconforming parts.</li></ul><ul><li>Ensure the accuracy of production paperwork and data entry in CMMS systems.</li></ul><ul><li>Establish and enforce protocols and best practices for maintaining Symbotic systems, providing supplemental training as needed.</li></ul><ul><li>Develop and document quarterly status reports on work completion and direction given.</li></ul><ul><li>Mentor and document the performance of field Maintenance Technicians and the Maintenance Manager.</li></ul><ul><li>Review site work orders, preventive and corrective maintenance, and projects; set goals and ensure follow-through.</li></ul><ul><li>Provide oversight and support to the Maintenance Manager at assigned sites.</li></ul><ul><li>Identify corrective actions for underperforming personnel or sites.</li></ul><ul><li>Review policies and practices and offer process improvement recommendations.</li></ul><ul><li>Collaborate with the training team to create and update training and mentorship materials.</li></ul><ul><li>Ensure all repairs are completed in a timely manner.</li></ul><ul><li>Support the implementation of maintenance policies, standards, procedures, and programs with Maintenance Managers.</li></ul><ul><li>Join site staff during preventive maintenance inspections as required.</li></ul><ul><li>Partner with Service Readiness Engineering to recommend customer spare parts packages.</li></ul><ul><li>Plan and develop spare parts room storage requirements and layouts for customers.</li></ul><ul><li>Assist with organizing and stocking spare parts at customer locations.</li></ul><ul><li>Monitor Maximo CMMS System performance in Technician and Inventory Specialist roles.</li></ul>What you’ll need<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Robotics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred.</li></ul><ul><li>Minimum of 5 years Maintenance experience required, Maximo experience preferred.</li></ul><ul><li>Demonstrated ability to write and create procedures pertaining to maintenance functions.</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics is required.</li></ul><ul><li>Skilled in Excel and Spreadsheet creation with use of formulas and macros highly desired.</li></ul><ul><li>Skilled in Microsoft Office functionality.</li></ul>Our Environment&nbsp;<ul><li>Remote, field-based position.</li></ul><ul><li>Travel is required up to 65-75% of the time. Employee must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations.</li></ul><ul><li>The employee is responsible to own a credit card and manage expenses personally to be reimbursed on a bi-weekly basis.</li></ul><ul><li>The employee is frequently required to walk and reach with hands and arms.&nbsp;</li></ul><ul><li>The employee is routinely required to work at heights of up to 45 feet and within restrictive areas of 24 inches. to stand; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.&nbsp;</li></ul><ul><li>The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.&nbsp;</li></ul><ul><li>Must comply with all safety requirements and protocols, including without limitation Lock out tag out safety protocols and fall protection safety protocols.&nbsp;</li></ul><ul><li>Approximately 75% of time will be spent on a construction site with PPE required (hard hat, safety vest, steel toes, eyeglasses, ear protection, fall protection (e.g., safety harness).&nbsp;</li></ul><ul><li>There will be steep stairs to climb into the structure You may be required to routinely walk up and down stairs to navigate the automation structure.</li></ul><ul><li>You will regularly be near railings that are high off the ground.&nbsp;</li></ul><ul><li>Subject to environmental conditions, protection from weather conditions but not necessarily temperature changes.
