ResponsibilitiesOverviewReporting into the Director of Finance, Ti-Mill, this is a high visibility role with direct working relationships with Plant Senior Leadership, HR, and Operations. This role will be responsible for driving accurate financial projections, results, internal controls, and providing meaningful analysis to help the leadership team meet financial targets. Financial Analyst

ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities<ul><li>Work closely with plant operating and other staff personnel in analyzing, interpreting, forecasting and presenting cost and inventory information.</li><li>Recommend improvements on current procedures that ensure administrative simplification and maintain accounting control.&nbsp; Heavy emphasis on continuous improvement activity.</li><li>Assures the proper allocation of inventory costs to products and business.</li><li>Isolates and reports upon exception situations and recommends management action to maximize long-term profitability.</li><li>Coordinates with Production Control Lead and reviews inventory transactions, classification of inventories, assignment of cost and inventory valuation.</li><li>Assist with the physical inventory process and associated reconciliation.</li><li>Prepare, process, review, and distribute a variety of daily / weekly / monthly reports such as production activity(absorption), labor utilization, production variances, aging WIP, overtime, inventory buckets/aging, and excess and obsolete inventory.</li><li>Month-end closing and reporting, including preparation of closing entries, GL account review and analysis, and account reconciliations.&nbsp;</li><li>Completion of Howmet Sarbanes-Oxley requirements for internal controls.</li><li>Drive automation, standardization and streamlining of the financial reporting processes.</li><li>Reconcile general ledger/inventory accounts monthly as required.</li><li>Prepare financial analysis to support business decisions such as cost vs buy (internal vs out-side processing).</li><li>Assist with standard cost rolls/duration rate change analysis and implementation.</li><li>Review standard cost changes for re-cost and impact, along with costing new material master’s as they arise. Cost Accountant

ResponsibilitiesThis position is responsible for location Financial Reporting, adherence to all GAAP, Howmet policies and procedures, and practicing risk management and SOX compliance for all aspects of controls. This position also provides financial leadership and data analysis for development of alternatives and solutions used in management decision making, as well as preparation of budgets and forecasting and corresponding financial accountability.
