Instructors provide quality instruction for student learning and maintain a positive learning environment in the class. The major emphasis for instructors is on teaching and evaluating students in the course. Classes are taught in a variety of formats and at several different locations, as well as online. Instructors also communicate with students between classes and are responsible for several administrative duties such as reporting on academic activity and submitting final grades.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Planning and teaching classes as assigned and as outlined in the course descriptions and course syllabi and departmental guidelines.
2. Beginning and ending all classes as scheduled and covering all relevant learning outcomes for each course.
3. Maintaining academic standards and classroom behavior to ensure an environment conducive to learning, communicating with students weekly, and answering student emails in a timely manner.&nbsp;

The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Athens is accepting applications for an Finance Support Associate. This is a full-time, partially grant-funded position designed to support health science program expansion and student accounts as outlined by the grant objectives and support the financial services of the college.
&nbsp;The Finance Support Associate will work to support health science students through student accounts, and the distribution of completion grants in accordance with THEC and grant policies.&nbsp; This role also includes supporting finance activities provided by the college.
Salary Range:&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Salary is commensurate with qualifications, education, and experience according to established TBR salary guidelines. Salary range: $34,939-$43,673.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

      Finance/Student Accounts Support
    

Dyersburg State Community College invites applicants for Accounting adjunct instructors for day, evening, and online classes held in Dyersburg, Covington, Paris, or at one of our other off-campus centers. Initial assignment may be at one of our teaching locations, but the official work station assignment may change each semester. POSITION SUMMARY The Senior Accountant manages financial transactions and coordinates accounting operations for the College and its Foundation while ensuring compliance with institutional, state, and federal regulations by maintaining accurate financial records.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Maintains fixed asset records in accordance with institutional policies, including performing depreciation calculations and conducting annual physical inventory of assets. Prepares quarterly and annual financial statements and supporting schedules for the College’s Foundation. Reviews the College’s financial statements and recommends changes.
Performs grant accounting and reporting, including preparing budget requests and submitting invoices for grants. Coordinates accounting operations for the College and Foundation. Develops and maintains spreadsheet analyses such as expenditure allocations and fund budgets to support Foundation operations. Posts capitalization entries for capital projects. Innovates, develops and implements processes to improve efficiencies within department.
