Description Idaho National Laboratory is hiring an Administrative Assistant to work in our Nuclear Science and Technology Advanced Scientific Computing department. Our team works a 9x80 schedule located out of our Research Education Campus with every other Friday off. Hybrid options available. You will perform a variety of advanced secretarial and clerical responsibilities designed to expedite the maintenance, processing, and recording of administrative business. Process information, operating equipment to produce data and documents or to facilitate communication, or coordinating office activities and practices Responsibilities Include: <ul><li>Compose and types, edits, and proofs a variety of documents, reports, and correspondence. Design charts and graphs to be used in oral presentations. Initiate and respond directly to correspondence. Respond to problems/inquiries and complete periodic and special reports.</li><li>Order supplies by generating requisitions through our organization provided systems. Is the Contact (POC) and escort for vendors performing maintenance on office equipment.</li><li>Receive, refer, and answer mail, walk-in, and telephone inquiries regarding organization activities.</li><li>Efficiently coordinate multiple calendars with accuracy and efficiency while prioritizing needs. Proactively resolve scheduling conflicts and coordinate collaborative meetings.</li><li>Support office operations by coordinating requests for information or providing general direction to others across INL.</li><li>Coordinate travel accommodations for organization(s) and prepare travel expense records.</li><li>Handle project classified and unclassified sensitive data and materials according to protocol while maintaining surveillance against security infractions and violations.</li><li>Advise managers and personnel in making decisions to retain, store, or destroy organization records, ensuring special record-keeping requirements are met for various record classifications.</li><li>Maintain office records and files and ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive and controlled documents.</li><li>Logistical space coordination and onboarding of new employees. Facilitate phone/move requests, and other maintenance and service requests for employees. Property management and space management.</li><li>Monitor status of critical items, assignments, and deadlines to ensure completion.</li></ul>Qualifications Minimum Requirements: <ul><li>Level 2: High school or equivalency and 2+ years related experience.</li><li>Level 3: High school or equivalency and 4+ years related experience.</li><li>Relevant experience commensurate with level.</li><li>This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "Q" clearance, which requires US Citizenship.</li></ul> Job Information: <ul><li>The pay range for this position is: Level 2 ($19.41/hour - $31.05/hour) / Level 3 ($21.90/hour - $36.13/hour).
