ResponsibilitiesHR AdministratorHowmet Aerospace has an opportunity for an on-site HR Administrator in our Whitehall, MI location! Reporting to the Employment Manager, this role provides essential administrative support to our high-volume Talent Acquisition team. The HR Administrator will play a key role in managing candidate activity and ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding process through a wide range of coordination and support tasks.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS)</li><li>Manage candidate statuses and dispositioning within the ATS</li><li>Own the job requisition process, including data input, manager coordination, approvals, and job posting</li><li>Schedule interviews and coordinate candidate travel and expense reimbursement</li><li>Conduct initial candidate phone screens&nbsp;</li><li>Issue visitor badges and coordinate onsite interview logistics</li><li>Conduct professional reference checks</li><li>Coordinate and track pre-employment requirements (e.g., physicals, background checks)</li><li>Assist with internal audits and documentation for compliance purposes</li><li>Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of sensitive candidate and employee information</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul>QualificationsBasic Qualifications:<ul><li>High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution</li><li>A minimum of two years’ office or administrative experience OR a possess a Bachelor’s degree&nbsp;</li><li>Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field</li><li>Experience supporting a recruiting or HR department in a high-volume environment</li><li>Familiarity with applicant tracking systems&nbsp;</li><li>Understanding of basic HR compliance and onboarding practices</li><li>Experience coordinating interviews, travel, or candidate communications</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency</li><li>High level of discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Outlook, Excel, and Word)</li></ul>About us﻿Howmet Aerospace Inc.
