Position Purpose<h4>The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.&nbsp; The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.</h4>Position Type: Full Time, Exempt&nbsp;<h4>Major Tasks, Responsibilities &amp; Key Accountabilities</h4><ul><li>Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks for the Executives assigned including managing calendar of appointments; completing expense reports; composing and preparing correspondence that is sometimes confidential; arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; and compiling documents for travel-related meetings.</li><li>Plans, coordinates, and ensures the Vice President(s) schedule is followed.</li><li>Works closely and effectively with the individuals assigned to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately. </li><li>Prioritizes conflicting needs; handles matters expeditiously, proactively, and follows through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.</li></ul>Nature &amp; Scope<ul><li>Reports to Vice President</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications<ul><li>3-5 years of administrative experience working with Executives in a fast-paced environment&nbsp; </li><li>High school diploma</li><li>Must pass applicable drug screens, background checks and pre-employment tests</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in business or related field</li></ul>Knowledge, Skills, Abilities &amp; Competencies<ul><li>Demonstrate forward thinking, problem solve and propose solutions.</li><li>Be highly resourceful with the ability to be effective independently and with little direction.</li><li>Have a high level of ethics, integrity and reliability.</li><li>Have a “can do” attitude.</li><li>Have a strong internal customer service attitude.</li><li>Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Must have advanced level PowerPoint Skills</li></ul>Job Conditions<ul><li>Both office environment and occasionally manufacturing/factory environment</li><li>Subject to noise and temperature changes</li></ul>Physical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
