Primary Duties/Responsibilities: <ul><li>Develop and execute strategies to analyze and manage complex data sets, uncovering valuable business insights.</li><li>Manage and grow a team of data scientists and analysts ensuring alignment with organizational goals.</li><li>Develop predictive models for energy demand forecasting, building performance optimization and grid optimization.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging data to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.</li><li>Present technical topics effectively to varied audiences and establish strong relationships across the organization and directly with clients.</li><li>Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.</li></ul> Qualifications Education/Experience/Background: <ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field is required.</li><li>5 to 10 years of experience in a BI, reporting, data science, data analytics role.</li><li>Some people Management experience preferred.</li></ul> Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: <ul><li>Knowledge of building or utility energy data is highly desirable.</li><li>Strong expertise in data science tools and platforms, including Python, R, Anaconda, Jupyter Notebook, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.</li><li>Knowledge of big data solutions, cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and database management systems.</li><li>Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management frameworks.</li><li>Comprehensive understanding of data privacy policies, data protection regulations, and best practices for data governance.</li><li>Business acumen with the ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies that align with organizational goals.</li><li>Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.</li><li>Strong problem-solving and root cause identification skills, coupled with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.</li></ul> Required Certification/Licenses/Training: <ul><li>Relevant certifications in data science, analytics, or big data technologies are a plus.</li></ul> Additional Information Pay Rate: $130000 to $155000 per year.
