Responsibilities also include supervising staff, coordinating teller and functional area activities, planning work schedules, evaluating staffing needs, and providing training to ensure a high-performing team.&nbsp;Essential Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>Manage and provide day-to-day coordination for the bank’s operations area, supervising and evaluating workflow to ensure a high level of service, accuracy, and timely completion of tasks.</li><li>Provide a wide range of operational services including escheatment, non-post items, outgoing wires, ACH support, transit adjustments, research, branch settlement, correspondent bank reconcilement, signature card maintenance, collections, attachments, levies, subpoenas, and certifications.</li><li>Handle exception item processing, branch certifications, and dormant/inactive account processing.</li><li>Control vault cash and maintain reserve levels within prescribed bank limits.</li><li>Oversee and review the opening of new accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.</li><li>Stay informed on industry developments and innovations that impact operations, while setting goals and objectives for the department.</li><li>Guide the formulation, implementation, and coordination of operational policies, procedures, and activities across the bank.</li><li>Maintain high operational standards to minimize risk and exposure.</li><li>Communicate bank policies, procedures, and regulations to staff, ensuring compliance and addressing any deviations.</li><li>Perform various operational functions in support of the department’s daily needs.</li><li>Reconcile accounts, clear outstanding balances, respond to inquiries, and process reports within established guidelines.</li><li>Assist customers with complex account-related issues including bookkeeping discrepancies, monthly statements, check holds, returned items, overdrafts, service charges, stop payments, safe deposit access, and collections or exchanges.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of all monetary transactions.</li><li>Conduct and review operations certifications to ensure accuracy and proper documentation.</li><li>Establish and manage departmental priorities to achieve individual and team objectives efficiently.</li><li>Ensure audit reviews meet or exceed expectations, and take corrective action when necessary to maintain compliance and performance standards.</li></ul>Minimum QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
