ResponsibilitiesJob Description:Under the supervision of the Production Area Lead, the Wax Finisher position is accountable for:<ul> <li>Responsible for the final finishing of wax and wax/plastic patterns.&nbsp; Three main areas of responsibility accomplish this: removing flash; repair defects; and smooth blends</li> <li>Repair defects in pattern assemblies without changing either the contour or the shape of the pattern by using wax as the filling material</li> <li>Dressing of pour cups</li> <li>Attach finished pattern to tree and attach pour cup to pattern gating</li> <li>If performing gating work, assembly of plastic or wax cross arms and vent plugs must be completed</li> <li>Reporting by data entry of finished piece into computer inventory system</li> <li>Preparation of cores (if working on IGT patterns)</li> <li>Blue sealing if working on plastic/wax patterns</li></ul>Organization Location:&nbsp;3960 S Marginal Rd, Cleveland, OH 44114Shift Schedule:&nbsp;6 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., Monday – FridaySalary:&nbsp;$20 /hr.&nbsp;QualificationsBasic Qualifications:<ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) from an accredited institution (Required)</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul> <li>Ability to lift 40 pounds</li> <li>Ability to effectively work AND communicate as part of a cell team</li></ul>While not exposed to hazardous materials, this position requires wearing PPE (personal protection equipment). Wax Finisher, 1st Shift

Responsibilities Job Summary Howmet Aerospace has an immediate opening for a CNC Machinist&nbsp;at our&nbsp;Engines Products - Brecksville Operations, the Tempcraft facility.&nbsp;This position is responsible for the setting up tooling, downloading NC programs and ensuring quality parts are being produced. To satisfy customer requirement the incumbent will work both independently while collaborating with the programming and manufacturing leadership as needed.Howmet Engines is a world-class producer of aero engine and industrial gas turbine components, including airfoils, rings, disks, and forgings. We excel in vacuum melted superalloys, machining, performance coatings and hot isostatic pressing for high performance parts that enable the next generation of quieter, more fuel-efficient aero engines, and cleaner power generation.
