Job Summary
Instruct justice-involved students in technical training to prepare them to re-enter the job market in the building construction field through lecture, demonstrations, and/or audio-visual aids. Responsible for individualized instruction in all phases of the Building Construction Technology program using the prescribed curriculum while ensuring efficient and safe delivery of instruction to students. Prepare and/or revise syllabi of courses of study with detailed lesson plans. Administer assessments to evaluate student progress. Maintain student academic records and submit reports related to the program (i.e., grades, attendance, discipline, etc.). Attend workshops and/or other training programs to remain current in the building construction industry.
