JOB SUMMARY: The Maintenance Electrician inspects, repairs, maintains, and assembles all equipment within the Production Facility. This includes Hydraulic Forge Presses, Natural Gas and Electric powered Furnaces, Product Conditioning Equipment, Overhead Cranes, Mobile Equipment, CNC Machines (Horizontal and Vertical Lathes), and Water Jets. &nbsp;This position is also responsible for supporting project related improvements such as running conduit, industrial machine installs, and general facility electrical support. Essential Functions: This is a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities and is not all inclusive. Incumbent(s) may and may be required to perform additional, position-specific tasks. <ul><li>Maintain Equipment through the execution of the Preventative Maintenance (PM) program.</li><li>Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues causing equipment failures.</li><li>Prepare and maintain records detailing inspections, observations, and repairs on all equipment.</li><li>Consult equipment manuals, schematics, electrical diagrams, and engineering personnel to efficiently troubleshoot and solve equipment problems.</li><li>Demonstrate a general understanding of Mechanical, Hydraulic, and Electrical system principles.</li><li>Ability to operate heavy machinery such as Forklifts, Extended Boom Lifts, Scissors Lifts, and Production Equipment.</li><li>Troubleshoot/Repair facility and equipment pneumatic systems.</li><li>Electrical troubleshooting up to 480V.</li><li>Replace electrical motors, motor contactors, fuses, breakers.</li><li>Ability to work at heights to service overhead cranes.</li><li>Willingness to work with PLC’s and troubleshoot issues with equipment.</li><li>Comfortable working in dirty environments to support the hydraulic forge presses.</li><li>Ability to run conduit in an industrial application.</li><li>Ability to complete general Production Facility duties such as clearing debris, installing product racking, and other 5S initiatives.</li><li>Ability to work a rotating shift (Days/Nights) that supports a 24/7 operation.</li><li>Maintains a safe and organized workstation and follows all company policy, safety and procedures.</li><li>Performs all other duties as assigned.</li></ul> Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: <ul><li>Electrical Systems – Knowledge of general electrical systems and how to troubleshoot those systems. Able to safely work with 480V electrical systems. Awareness of required safety protocol while de-energizing 4160V electrical systems.</li><li>Hydraulic Systems – Knowledge of how hydraulic pumps, cylinders, valves, and accessory equipment works to generate desired equipment movement.</li><li>Mechanical Systems – Knowledge of general mechanical systems and how to troubleshoot those systems.</li><li>Equipment Preventative Maintenance — Monitoring gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.</li><li>Troubleshooting — Demonstrate an ability to determine why equipment failed and make the necessary repairs to return equipment to Operations.</li><li>Communication — Ability to effectively and comfortably communicate technical information to others inside and outside of the Maintenance Department.</li><li>Production and Processing — General knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.</li><li>Quality Control Analysis — Conducting tests and inspections of equipment, products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.</li><li>Reading Comprehension — Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.</li><li>Critical Thinking — Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.</li><li>Basic functions of Microsoft Office Suite.</li><li>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</li></ul> Physical Demands: <ul><li>Continuously required to wear common Protective or Safety Equipment such as Safety Shoes, Glasses, Gloves, Hearing Protection, Hard Hats.</li><li>Continuously required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.&nbsp;</li><li>Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.&nbsp;</li><li>Frequently required lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.&nbsp;</li><li>Occasionally required to sit.&nbsp;</li><li>Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.</li><li>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</li></ul> Work Location/Environmental Requirements: Nickel and titanium manufacturing facility. Exposure to: moving mechanical parts; wet and/or humid conditions; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; extreme cold, extreme heat, vibration; loud noise level Basic Qualifications: <ul><li>High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution</li><li>Minimum 3 years of experience working with 480V electrical systems in an industrial environment or experience in one of these related fields (HVAC systems, Industrial PLC’s, or Electrical Trade School Completion).</li><li>Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
