Senior Logistics Consultant

<h4>Overview</h4>LMI is seeking a skilled Senior Supply Chain Data Anlaytics Consultant in the Washington, DC metro area. Business casual dress, flex time, and tuition reimbursement are a few of our many work-life benefits available to our employees.<h4>Responsibilities</h4> <ul><li>Provide supply chain data anlyatics advisory and strategy services for asset management and other supply chain functions.</li><li>Lead gap analyses and conduct planning and roadmapping for supply chain engineering.</li><li>Support projects analyzing existing system-support supply chains (including, inventory management, maintenance, and distribution) in government organizations.</li><li>Provide consulting services related across multiple classes of supply, with particular focus on wholesale and retail level inventory management processes, policies, performance measurement and analysis.</li><li>Support government organizations in correcting audit findings and material weaknesses in Inventory, Operating Material &amp; Supplies, and Requisitioning.</li><li>Analyze and assess governments organizations' logistics and supply chain policies and procedures against current performance metrics and make recommendations on policy and/or process improvements.</li></ul><h4>Qualifications</h4>MINIMUM:<ul><li>Bachelors degree in business administration, supply chain management, supply chain analytics, logistics, or similar discipline.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>8+ plus years’ experience with supply chain management with specific duties related to supply chain data analytics.&nbsp;</li><li>Must have knowledge in government inventory management, provisioning, distribution, and packaging principles, concepts, policies and processes to ensure enterprise wide efficient, cost effective end-to-end logistics performance.</li><li>Technical experience working with and performing supply chain data analysis.</li><li>Knowledge of commercially based supply chain solutions/platforms, including ServiceNow.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience with SAS and MS Power BI&nbsp;</li><li>Demonstrated ability to use MS Office Suite to include Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.</li><li>Superior communication skills, both oral and written&nbsp;</li><li>High energy, enthusiasm, tact, ability to effectively interact with senior executives from Government and industry&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to create and foster a cooperative work environment.</li><li>Self-directed, detail oriented in completing assigned tasks, able to adapt to changing work efforts and manage impact of shifting priorities.</li></ul>DESIRED SKILLS:<ul><li>Master’s degree (Supply Chain Analytics preferred)</li><li>Prior government/contractor experience&nbsp;</li><li>Working knowledge of Nuvolo</li><li>Experience with asset management analytics</li><li>Preference for candidates with current Public Trust background investigation.</li></ul><h4> LMI is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
