This position functions as a key member of the national corporate legal team and contributes to the effective coordination of legal, regulatory, and compliance activities.Where you will work:<ul><li>This opportunity offers the flexibility to work on a hybrid schedule (2-3 days in office per week) based out of Astound's Seattle, WA office.</li></ul>A Day in the Life of the Legal Assistant:<ul><li>Coordinate and manage day-to-day matters for the legal department as necessary and appropriate.</li><li>Oversee the preparation, submission, renewal, and tracking of business licenses at the local, county, and state levels.</li><li>Manage corporate entity documentation, including the preparation and filing of annual reports and related compliance filings, process certificate of insurance requests and coordinate updates or changes with relevant stakeholders.</li><li>Conduct legal research and provide administrative support for inquiries related to legal or regulatory matters.</li><li>Handle subpoena intake and processing in accordance with established procedures, as well as maintaining and updating the department’s legal document repository.</li><li>Oversee Federal Communications Commission (FCC) political file for California, Oregon, and Washington, including download/upload tracking and compliance documentation.</li><li>Coordinate and assist with obtaining and managing real property documentation such as easements, access rights, and use licenses.</li><li>Support the permitting process for rights-of-way, construction, and operational access to facilities and infrastructure.</li><li>Provide research support for franchise agreements and other regulatory licenses.  As a Legal Administrative Assistant within our Litigation department, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
