Howmet Fastening Systems (HFS) is seeking an Assistant Controller&nbsp;for our location&nbsp;in Torrance, CA.&nbsp;The Assistant Controller supports&nbsp;the Controller&nbsp;in the direct supervision of the day-to-day general accounting functions and coordinates the month-end closing process and daily/weekly monthly financial reporting. Assists in the development of financial plans and forecasts, and the analysis of operational results. Prime day-to-day responsibilities will be cost accounting, monitoring and reporting inventories, standard cost revisions, and operating the budget. Essential Duties and Responsibilities&nbsp;include the following. Other duties may be assigned. <ul><li>Perform as a Cost Accountant on a day-to-day basis.
