The RN Charge Nurse is responsible for overseeing nursing services each shift and functions as a nursing supervisor. Battery Mechanic is responsible for the total maintenance of lead acid industrial batteries for all forklift, order picker, reach truck and pallet mover batteries. This includes changing batteries, filling them with water, cleaning acid from the exterior of the batteries and performing a complete battery cleaning. Other duties include keeping the battery storage racking &amp; Battery room clean of acid residue, debris, dirt &amp; general housekeeping. Changer will make sure the battery chargers are working properly and notifying Maintenance Specialist &amp; Supervisor of any needed repair, maintain the power battery chargers in top operating condition as well as testing and repairing all lead acid industrial batteries. Benefits you can count on: <ul><li>Pay rate: $19.47-29.70 per hour (BOE) Tuesday-Saturday 6am-2:30pm</li><li>Generous benefits that start on your 60th day: medical, dental, and vision insurance, FSA/HSA and company-paid life insurance.</li><li>Earn vacation time, and sick leave accrual from day one and paid holidays after 90 days.</li><li>401(k) Profit Sharing Plan after 90 days.</li><li>Additional benefits: pet insurance, parental leave, employee assistance programs, discount programs, tuition reimbursement program, and more!</li></ul> What you'll do as a Warehouse Maintenance I - Battery Mechanic: <ul><li>Responsibilities for periodic condition-based maintenance inspections.</li><li>Change batteries in all plant forklifts and reach trucks</li><li>Complete all record keeping for battery changers, conditioning &amp; watering</li><li>Inspect and clean forklift order picker and reach truck lead acid batteries</li><li>Clean batteries on an on-going basis including battery racks with acid build up and add water to all batteries as needed</li><li>Inspect eye wash station weekly</li><li>Inspect and maintain battery changer daily.</li><li>Replace battery cables and battery charger ends as necessary</li><li>Rebuild (replace battery cells) as necessary</li></ul> Qualifications you'll bring as a Warehouse Teammate: <ul><li>At least 18 years of age.</li><li>High School Diploma or GED preferred.</li><li>At least 1 year of professional experience in industrial maintenance.</li><li>At least 1 year of maintenance experience with material handling equipment.</li><li>Able to read and understand electrical schematics.</li><li>Experience with distribution center industrial equipment, including (but not limited to) forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, tuggers, and carts.</li><li>Knowledge of OSHA regulations.</li><li>Basic computer skills with experience in a maintenance database such as MP2, DataStream 7i, or Maintenance Connection. </li><li>This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role.
