MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

<li>Technical diploma in instructional area or equivalent higher education with credentials in related field. Associate degree preferred. A comparable combination of related work experience and education may be considered.</li>

GENERAL DUTIES: The Electrical and Plumbing Construction Technology Associate Instructor is responsible for providing individualized theory and hands-on instruction to adult and high school students to prepare them for employment in the field. Areas of instruction include, but are not limited to: electrical theory, residential/commercial print reading and wiring techniques, load calculations, conduit bending, National Electric Code, plumbing fixtures and installation, pipes and fittings, water distribution and drainage installations.. The Associate Instructor must monitor, grade and evaluate individual student progress; maintain student records in the college’s student records management software; maintain appropriate documentation; submit timely reports; assist in recruiting new students, and assist with graduate placement. This position must also maintain good public relations with business and industry; maintain an active advisory committee; cooperate with outside agencies; and supervise and follow-up on students participating in cooperative education. This position is full-time and reports to the Clarksville Campus Director. Scheduled work hours are Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Scheduled class hours are Monday through Friday, 3:15 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. Instruction is delivered in-person at Stewart County High School. Anticipated start date December 1, 2025.
SALARY: $55,983-$67,181 annually ($28.71-$34.45 per hour). Commensurate with Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology salary guidelines and directly related experience.

This is not a remote teaching position.

POSITION SUMMARY This position will provide administrative support to the programs within the School of Health Sciences. This position is based at the Dickson campus and will require occasional travel to Clarksville and Nashville campuses.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform duties including answering phones, responding to phone/in person/email inquiries, screening calls, and handling related issues. Provide general office management and clerical assistance with copying, printing documents, filing, maintaining records, making phone calls, and processing incoming/outgoing mail, FedEx and UPS. Utilize various computer applications including but not limited to, Outlook Email and Calendar, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, BANNER and SciQuest. In collaboration with program directors, ensure that student onboarding for all programs is complete and students and faculty files are accurate. Maintain department databases and orient students to recordkeeping databases. Provide coverage and support across School of Health Science programs.
Assess inquiries directed to the School of Health Sciences and determine the proper course of action, delegating to the appropriate individual to manage the response. Prepare routine correspondence, reports, contracts, forms and other documents. Greet and assist visitors and callers by providing information and/or directing them to the appropriate person. Assist with assembling information for various reports and projects. Keep appointment schedule, arranging meetings and interviews as necessary. Analyze and interpret directives, policies, procedures, guidelines, etc. Determine type of data, forms, records or methods needed and collects and/or compiles data. Compose routine and non-routine correspondence independently. Develop and maintain personnel, financial, statistical and other records. Maintain and order office supplies and other materials as needed. May supervise student workers and/or temporary employees.

POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for tracking and assisting students by providing holistic services from pre-enrollment to completion for a defined set of students with a primary goal of assisting them with overcoming barriers to their success in college. This position will serve both the Dickson Campus and Humphreys County Campus.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Build relationships with students to achieve their identified goals and objects. Review student progress and track student use of academic support services. Assist students in identifying factors that contribute to lack of academic progress, help students examine alternatives, and apply appropriate retention strategies to support students’ efforts. Strategize with faculty and other college staff as needed to improve support student success. Maintain accurate tracking data and notes for each assigned student, recommending appropriate referrals and opportunity programs.
Support annual recruitment of new students. Create and conduct training sessions/workshops for students, faculty and staff. Assist with a developing and implementing a variety of institutional retention activities. Participate in new student orientation and first year experience activities. Utilize an SIS student records system and be able to function within a computerized office environment.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree with at least two years’ experience working in a higher education setting with a diverse student body delivering direct support/services to students; OR
Master’s degree in education, higher education or closely related field with or without direct work experience in a higher education setting with a diverse student body delivering direct support/services to students.

POSITION SUMMARY Serves as the primary point of contact for basic administrative, instructional and facilities support for evening operations at the Dickson Campus. Acts as an evening resource for faculty, staff and students and responds to emergencies during evening hours.
