Title: Student Services Specialist III, Dickson &amp; Humphreys County Campus
POSITION SUMMARY This position represents the college at college fairs and other recruitment events to potential students, their families, secondary schools and their respective officials, post-secondary institutions and their respective officials and the community at large. Responsible for building relationships with prospective Nashville State Community College students, to include students interested in dual enrollment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES This position will serve two extended campuses: Dickson Campus and Humphreys County Campus. Provide student-centered service and advising to prospective students and their families regarding the college, academic offerings, admission procedures and financial aid options. This includes assisting applicants through the application, major selection and financial aid process. Serves as the point of contact, coordinate, prepare and facilitate student services events for current students. Develop, and coordinate activities related to student on-boarding communications and events for prospective and new students. Collaborate to develop, refine, deliver and evaluate orientation for new students, including the development of new recruitment programs for transfer and non-traditional students. Manage ongoing effective and strategic communication with prospective students and applicants via letters, telephone calls, personal visits, electronic and social networking mediums, etc. regarding college information, course programs, resources, career options and the enrollment process.
Represent Dickson and Humphreys County Campuses when participating in recruitment events on and off campus, such as high school fairs, college fairs, campus tours, open houses, and other events. Coordinate assigned activities with other college programs, departments and external entities, such as student life activities. Provide regular reports on contacts to prospective students, student applicants, school visits, college fairs and campus tours as requested. Assist in planning, implementing and evaluating creative approaches to increase awareness about Nashville State to prospective student audiences for the purpose of increasing enrollment and college completion. Work closely with the Dual Enrollment Director and high school counselors to provide information to prospective dual enrollment students, and assist with processing admissions, grant and registration paperwork. Serve on college committees as assigned. Oversee student workers as needed.

Title: Maintenance Technician, Dickson Campus
POSITION SUMMARY Under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, performs basic maintenance and repairs to electrical, plumbing and other building systems and provides general carpentry, painting and commercial building repair/maintenance services across all seven of the College’s campuses.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Responds to and completes work orders for various maintenance projects and requests in a timely manner. Performs basic plumbing maintenance, including repairing faucets, caulking fixtures, running clogged drain lines and rebuilding &amp; replacing plumbing fixtures. Performs electrical repairs, including replacing light fixtures, lightbulbs and electrical receptacles and switches.
Prepares, primes and paints interior and exterior building surfaces. Installs and repairs drywall, glass, handrails, window blinds, ceiling tile, carpet/floor tiles, baseboard molding, etc. Maintains and repairs doors, locks, closers. Repairs or replaces defective equipment. Conducts preventative repairs on an annual, monthly, weekly and daily basis as needed/assigned.
Travels to extended campuses as assigned to perform routine and preventative maintenance and to assess condition of buildings/systems. Maintains a parts, supplies and equipment inventory and advises supervisor when inventory needs to be replenished. Moves chairs, desks, file cabinets and other furniture and equipment. Assembles furniture as needed. Assists with indoor and outdoor College event set-up and break-down, including tables, chairs, podiums, risers, stages, drapes, banners, etc., along with other miscellaneous requests.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or GED
Three (3) years’ building maintenance experience
Valid driver’s license
Must pass a background investigation, including a favorable motor vehicle record and criminal background report
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Prior experience performing building maintenance for an organization with multiple locations/campuses

Ability to regularly push, pull, lift, move and carry 30 to 50 pounds. Title: Instructor, Industrial Process Control Technology – 9/10 Month (Term) - Humphreys County Campus
POSITION SUMMARY This is a full-time faculty position responsible for preparing and delivering quality instruction on topics in Industrial Process Control Technology.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Teach courses via on-ground day and evening, hybrid or web-enhanced delivery modes as assigned. Within a minimum workweek of 37.5 hours, teach a minimum of 15 hours and hold office hours. Work with course leads and/or program coordinators to ensure consistent and equitable student experiences.
Utilize the College’s learning management system to provide course materials to students. Submit updated course syllabi prior to the first day of class. Submit final grades for each semester by the deadline established by the registrar. Provide academic advising to students with an emphasis on retention and success. The Tennessee College of Applied Technology - Dickson is accepting applications for a full-time Associate Instructor in the Electrical and Plumbing Construction Technology program to be located at Stewart County High School in Dover, Tennessee. This is a grant-funded position.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
<ul>
<li>Technical diploma in instructional area or equivalent higher education with credentials in related field. Associate degree preferred. A comparable combination of related work experience and education may be considered.</li>
<li>Three (3) years of full-time experience in the Electrical and Plumbing field within the last five (5) years.</li>
<li>Must possess a high degree of knowledge in electrical theory, residential/commercial print reading and wiring techniques, load calculations, conduit bending, National Electric Code, plumbing fixtures and installation, pipes and fittings, water distribution and drainage installations.</li>
<li>Current Limited Licensed Electrician (LLE) and Limited Licensed Plumber (LLP) licenses or the ability to become certified within twelve (12) calendar months.</li>

GENERAL DUTIES: The Electrical and Plumbing Construction Technology Associate Instructor is responsible for providing individualized theory and hands-on instruction to adult and high school students to prepare them for employment in the field. The Associate Instructor must monitor, grade and evaluate individual student progress; maintain student records in the college’s student records management software; maintain appropriate documentation; submit timely reports; assist in recruiting new students, and assist with graduate placement. This position must also maintain good public relations with business and industry; maintain an active advisory committee; cooperate with outside agencies; and supervise and follow-up on students participating in cooperative education. This position is full-time and reports to the Clarksville Campus Director. Scheduled work hours are Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Scheduled class hours are Monday through Friday, 3:15 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. Instruction is delivered in-person at Stewart County High School. Anticipated start date December 1, 2025.
SALARY: $55,983-$67,181 annually ($28.71-$34.45 per hour). Commensurate with Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology salary guidelines and directly related experience.
