The successful candidate will possess superior negotiating ability to work out repayment plans, or negotiating settlements when it is in the best interest of the company. This position also requires skip-tracing skills in order to locate assets for potential legal action against the debtor. This individual will interact with the Legal Administrator when necessary to locate assets for post-judgement writs of garnishment or levy. This position will also have some interaction with the Bankruptcy Administrator and other members of the Loss Recovery team. The individual will provide regular updates to the Loss Recovery Supervisor on incoming recovery dollars for accurate reporting to upper management. The successful candidate is self-directed in work prioritization and demonstrates superior judgment-making ability within the scope of the position’s areas of responsibility. The associate will perform all duties in accordance with CIG Financial policies and procedures and all state and federal regulations. This position requires working a variable schedule, which may include late evenings and occasional weekends, as directed by management.
