Position Summary
This position is primarily responsible for teaching in the Associate Degree Registered Nursing Program. POSITION SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Department Head and/or Lead Faculty, Adjunct Instructors have as their chief duty the instruction of assigned classes, providing quality instruction for student learning and maintaining a positive learning environment in the classroom. Although classes are offered in a variety of formats (virtual, online, hybrid, on-ground), we are prioritizing applicants who are available to teach on ground during the day and/or with our Dual Enrollment program. · Participate in ongoing faculty assessment and professional development activities to ensure an active and engaged classroom experience for all students; maintain required certification and license
· Actively participate in meetings, review and analyze assessment data, compile reports, and meet academic and administrative deadlines
· Ensure campus compliance with all federal, state, and regulatory bodies’ guidelines, along with internal policies of the college.

QUALIFICATIONS:
· Required Qualifications:
· Graduate from a one-year diploma program or have an associate degree in a related medical field
· Three years’ experience as a medical assistant
· Effective in teaching and knowledgeable in the MAERB Core Curriculum content included in their assigned teaching as documented by education or experience in the designated content area and have documented education in instructional methodology.
· Preferred Qualifications:

SKILLS:
· Computer proficiency utilizing routine office software such as MS Office Suite, email, internet, database/s, and virtual meeting platforms required.
· Exceptional oral and written communication; organization and problem-solving; planning; and interpersonal skills consistent with establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
· Good communication skills with the ability to deal constructively with difficult situations and people and to resolve conflicts rationally and judiciously.
· Ability to work with people of various viewpoints, cultural backgrounds, and skill levels.
