The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Chattanooga is accepting applications for the part-time position of Truck Driving Adjunct Instructor to be located at the Soddy Daisy site in Soddy Daisy, Tennessee. This scheduled class time will be five nights a week (3:15 p.m. – 10:45 p.m.) at the approved campus work site for instruction, office hours, and community and college service.

Instructors are responsible for teaching students in our training programs in classroom, hands on lab settings, and clinical, ensuring that they gain the knowledge and skills that are required for entry-level employment in their chosen field. <li>Demonstrated hands-on experience in automation and industrial maintenance, with at least three years as a maintenance technician or licensed (journeyman) electrician with an LLE certification, or ten years of documented expertise in industrial automation, robotics, or electrical systems.</li>

POSITION SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Department Head and/or Lead Faculty, Adjunct Instructors have as their chief duty the instruction of assigned classes, providing quality instruction for student learning and maintaining a positive learning environment in the classroom. Although classes are offered in a variety of formats (virtual, online, hybrid, on-ground), we are prioritizing applicants who are available to teach on ground during the day and/or with our Dual Enrollment program.
