The Assistant Director of Athletics assists in the overall management and administration of the athletics department at Volunteer State Community College. In conjunction with Marketing, Communications, and Media Services, oversee athletics marketing, social media, and promotional efforts to enhance visibility and engagement. Collaborate with student organizations and campus departments to promote school spirit and attendance at games. Facilities and Equipment Management: Assist in managing the maintenance and scheduling of athletic facilities. Coordinate the procurement, inventory, and distribution of athletic equipment and uniforms. Working with Academic Affairs, manage the Fitness Center to include but not limited to scheduling hours of operation, maintaining fitness equipment, and providing information for users which educates them concerning fitness equipment safety protocol. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in sports management, physical education, business administration, or a related field and three years of experience in collegiate athletics or coaching OR Master’s degree in sports management, physical education, business administration, or a related field and one year of experience in collegiate athletics or coaching.

POSITION SUMMARY The Tutor Coordinator is responsible for delivering academic support to students enrolled in a range of Mathematics courses through traditional tutoring and structured weekly math skills sessions. This role collaborates closely with faculty, part-time tutors, and the Learning Center Coordinator to enhance student learning and success in Mathematics. Tutoring will be provided in both in-person and virtual formats, serving students across multiple campuses.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Facilitate the learning process for students seeking additional academic support outside of the classroom. Work in both one-on-one and small group settings on Mathematics course materials. Must meet requirements established by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) upon recommendation from Committee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the EMS Professions (CoAEMSP), and the Tennessee Department of Health Division of EMS. Must be licensed or eligible for Paramedic licensure in Tennessee; Paramedic licensure must be free from revocation, denial, or suspension.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Master’s degree in Accounting; OR
Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Accounting Topics and a current CPA license.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Documented experience teaching at the college level.
Demonstrated understanding of the community college mission and needs of the student population.
Documented experience teaching Accounting courses in a variety of modalities including in-person, hybrid, virtual, and asynchronously online.
Demonstrated experience incorporating current technologies into teaching.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Knowledge and/or experience using a variety of instructional delivery modes. Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with a wide range of faculty, staff, and student population. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Job Summary
The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Hartsville is seeking a qualified adjunct Plumbing Instructor to provide part-time instruction in basic to intermediate plumbing systems, codes, and safety practices. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed plumber or construction professional to share industry knowledge and mentor the next generation of skilled trades workers.&nbsp;Salary is commensurate with education and experience.&nbsp; $30/hr; potential for full-time. 
Job Duties
<ul>

Deliver engaging, hands-on instruction in residential and commercial plumbing systems.

<li>
Teach key topics such as blueprint reading, pipefitting, fixture installation, drainage, venting, water supply, and plumbing code compliance.

Supervise and guide students during lab/shop activities with an emphasis on safety, precision, and real-world application.

<li>
Support student skill development and career readiness for industry employment or apprenticeship programs.

Collaborate with full-time instructors and staff to ensure instructional quality and curriculum alignment.

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; postsecondary certificate/diploma in plumbing or related field preferred. Minimum five (5) years of full-time, verifiable industry experience within the past five (5) years. Ability to obtain any required instructional certifications as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous teaching, training, or mentorship experience. Familiarity with NCCER curriculum and/or Tennessee Residential/Commercial Plumbing Code. Knowledge of instructional safety practices in a lab or shop environment. Valid Limited Licensed Plumber (LLP) or current Tennessee-issued journeyman/master plumber license. Associate Degree.

Technical Knowledge: Proficient in residential and commercial plumbing systems, including tools, materials, techniques, safety codes, and blueprint interpretation. Instructional Skill: Ability to teach students using hands-on, individualized instructional methods aligned to trade competency standards. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for delivering clear instruction, feedback, and safety guidelines. Organization: Capable of planning lessons, maintaining records, and managing lab/shop environments effectively. Adaptability: Able to teach students of varying ages and skill levels while adjusting to diverse learning styles and needs. Team Collaboration: Willingness to work as part of a team in a student-centered environment.
