ELECTRICAL CONTROLS ENGINEER - HIP/Ti-Cast Operation

ResponsibilitiesManage resources within the technical team to meet both internal and external NPI milestones in accordance with the company’s financial objectives.<ul><li>Supporting new product introductions (NPI) by helping develop and qualify manufacturing processes for titanium and nickel-based forgings.</li><li>Ensure all processes are designed to meet or exceed customer requirements as specified on purchase orders, blueprints, specifications or other related documents.</li><li>Develop, modify, &amp; improve the metallurgical processes associated with the production of conventional and isothermal forgings in accordance with customer design requirements.</li><li>Assisting in root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions using APQP methodology.</li><li>Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product quality and profitability.</li><li>Participating in technical projects involving data collection, analysis, and presentation.</li></ul>QualificationsRequired Qualifications:&nbsp;<ul><li><a>Bachelor's Degree in Metallurgy, Metallurgical Engineering or Materials Engineering from an accredited institution.</a></li><li>Strong attention to detail and a passion for problem-solving.</li><li>Solid communication skills—both written and verbal.</li><li>Production and Processing — Knowledge or ability to learn of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.</li><li>Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).</li><li>Critical Thinking — Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.&nbsp;</li><li>Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
